Have any of you ever tryed to Remove and Replace one of these? It is in the middle right below the center defrost vents. It is also behind a brace for the dash. I have remove all of the pannels, and the counsel itself. But I still can't get the heater core assembly out. Any help would be appreciated.

Instead of being a dick why dont you just say you cant help him?
If your escort was anything like my old tempo, it was a huge pain in the ass doing the heater core.

Even i can be a dick every once in a while. Kinda like playing a store bought world champ deck while not telling everyone that that's what it is.

It's not even my car. I had enugh with the Blue badge of death with that fucking probe. Its the GF's car. The part is $27 and the shop wants $500. It is simple economics. I realy don't want to put it back together unless I replace the fucking thing.

I usually don't recommend this..... but you should email Troy Larson, he could probably help you since he was a Ford mechanic for a few years. Good luck with that.
Send him a private message from the forums - it will kick out an email to him.
