Did you pay her in time? When are you leaving to get it? Are you putting a garage addition on your townhome? [Wink]

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

I just called Chad and he is in NY and just got his new RX7 started. I guess the previous owner flooded it before he got there so he had to pull the plugs lol.

The one thing I hate about used car buyers - they are always running the damn car/truck before you get there. When I bought my Celica I test drove it two times, both times it was fully warmed up when I got there.... I asked about 10 times if it had trouble starting etc - I guess I was lucky with no problems.

When I got the GTI, The guy still had the cover that he stores it with on it hehe. I know that I was lucky to get such a good deal and even more lucky nothing unexpected happened on the ride home. Hopefully Chad will have good luck also!

I'm glad you think its funny when a family member is potentially stranded 1300 miles from home. [shake] Look up compassion in the dictionary. You keep treating your family the way you have son and you might just find yourself out on your ass.

The only one who spazez about anything is you my tightly strung poker playing jack-in-the-box.

I was actually quite understanding with these people. They were freaked because it had not happend to them before. All RX-7s will flood if you start them and shut them off with out letting them warm up. The lady had moved it out of the garage the night before I got there and so it flooded. I know about the problem and had it fixed within 1 hour including a trip thru queens to the local ghetto NAPA. Changed the plugs, squirted ATF in the trailing plug holes and with some cranking it started right up, smoked for a minuite then purred like a kitten.

Car is about what I expected. It's in excellent mechanical condition for being 14 years old. It runs great and gets about 26-27mpg on the freeway, good for any rotary motor. The exterior is kinda beat up but no major damage. No rust. Just needs a paint job. The interior is in good contion just a bit faded. All electrical components work save the radio face. Which is ok because it will be getting satalite radio/mp3/cd player within a couple of weeks.

All-in-all including travel expenses I paid a fair price for what I got. These cars are actually going up in value now and to find one with such low miles was a lucky find.
