What do you guys think?

Will we trade up to get Braylon Edwards?

Will Mike Williams be available?

Are they really thinking about drafting a Running Back?

Any predictions?

Who do you think will go first?

Won't the vikings do like they do every year?

Run out of time and drop two spots in both the first and second rounds.

Draft a running back when they already have 8 good ones.

Draft a pot smoking defensive lineman who fails to show up for training camp after getting arrested for selling the purple haze but his publicist will label it "a hold out".

Generaly act the the recockulously missrun organization they are....

HAPPY DRAFT DAY!!

Nascar is more of a sport nowadays than pro football.

Wow...such anger...the dark side I sense in you. [Wink]

I normally would agree with you, but they went completely against standard Vikings form this off season and had (arguably) the best free agent signings of any team.

We now have (arguably) one of the best cornerback duos in the game. We picked up a run stopping addition to Kevin Williams.

We released the cancer that was keeping our team out of the Super Bowl, and now have the opportunity to add one of two premier wide receivers that would come close to replacing Randy Moss.

Normally, I'd agree and have the same doubt...but I don't.

They better not let me down!

Review:

Troy Williamson - WR - Great wide receiver, and we'll see. Mike Williams went to the Lions...so we'll definitely KNOW who was the better pick.

Erasmus James - DE - Stud. Stay healthy and we've got one helluva front 4: James, Williams, Williams and Udeze...now fix the damn Linebackers!

Marcus Johnson - OL - Stud. Predicted to go a lot higher. Should find a way to the O-line soon.

Dustin Fox - CB - Tough, crazy white dude. They say he reminds them of.....CHRIS WALSH! Wooo [Wink]

Ciatrick Fason - RB - They say he's pretty good...we'll see.

Calvin Michael "C.J." Mosley, Jr. - DT - We'll see...looks tough.

Adrian Ward - CB - Ummmm...don't think we'll see much of this guy.

---------

All in all, I'm happy. We got 3 really good players and a couple that might be good someday.

Damn Jets though...they picked that kicker! [Frown]

If the Vikings make it to the Super Bowl (in Detroit) I'm going...

I agree. My biggest disappointment was missing out on Nugent (the Kicker), as that is probably (now) our most glaring problem - assuming the free agents and drafts pan-out.

Tice said they were sniped 3 times in the draft with a team picking up the player they wanted one or two picks before. We know that meant nugent, david pollack, and someone else. They did trade up two spots to take Fason who is a young Mo Williams type of player. Mo is in a contract year and not getting any younger so he will be an upgrade. They seem pretty excited about their linebackers. Dontarrious Scott is supposed to be the real deal now as well as picking up Napolean Harris, and Cowart in the middle. I will be very suprised if we dont have a top 5 defense if everyone stays healthy... I went to winter park for the draft party and you should have heard the Boo's when we didnt draft Mike Williams. What the hell are we going to do to defend those Detroit receivers now? LOL

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

I was listening on KFAN because I was in my car driving around all day, and I heard the boos.

I liked Mike Tice's comments: "I'm glad the people who don't spend nearly as much time as we do on this think they can boo us" hahah...

Yeah, we got sniped twice, but I don't know about the 3rd one.

Linebacker and a kicker...that's it. And I don't believe that any of our linebackers are the real deal.

Donterrius Thomas (is that who you meant?) is supposed to be good someday, so I'd be pleasantly surprised if he stepped up. Napolean Dynamite I doubt he'll do anything, and Cowart has been a bust...he'll probably look good and then go down with a season ender.

Hopefully the D-line/CB combo can be commanding enough...

We'll see...I'm still pumped.

Fortunately they have Harrington, who cant figure out how to throw the ball.
