Klaus. Who is your web host and details on what your paying for? I need to setup a website for family and am looking around for a host.

I think it's Interland and Steve pays like $14 a month I think. But that's a grandfathered rate - not sure what it is now.

We used purehost (www.purehost.com) up until Quest just packaged hosting in with our internet service.
They were great and easy to work with.
If i remember right it was like 210$ per year. Which included automatic yearly renewal of domain registration, 10 e-mail boxes, and lots of space. It is shared hosting though, not dedicated. [ 01-24-2005, 09:52: Message edited by: Chadwick ]

I frequent a couple other forums and found a couple $10 a month hosting plans that include 2000megs/50gig bandwidth. That seems like plenty as long as they have the scripting crap I need (either PHP on a linux box or ASP for a windows box. I also HAVE to have FTP access because those control panels drive me NUTS! I ended up going with startlogic for hosting. They have pretty kick ass rates.
2000 megs of space 60 gigs of bandwidth a month free nice photo gallery PHP Nuke for free unlimited emails/subdomains unlimited FTP accounts + anonymous FTP some other nice features as well
It cost me 7.50 a month when I bought a year
Klaus, do you know anything about the PHP Nuke Forums?
