A couple friends and I are trying to plan a paintball event this saturday most likely at the rosemount paintball place. Is anyone else interested in going? Yeah yeah I know shooting real guns is much more fun but think of it this way. How much fun is it to shoot 100 MPH paintballs at all your closest friends (and enemies). I am thinking 8-14 guys would be a good number for the bigger courses they have there. Of course this is all weather pending but seems like a fun idea.

Do they have equipment to rent there?
Do you need to schedule ahead of time?
How much does it cost?
Is it indoors or outdoors?

Remember that they charge for 15 minimum!

I would be up for it only if we got at least 14 people so i dont have to pay for people who dont show up like last time. It makes the difference between 65$ and 90$.

Ill find out all the costs and stuff today.
If we have an exact number then we wont have to pay extra. You rent all your gear there and can buy a case of balls to split between a couple guys. Chad knows more about it than I do really. I just know a few of us want to go. If we called and said ten guys were going and nobody cancelled we would be cool i would think. Any more info you want to add Chad? Its outside and they have a couple different areas to play on. Last time we went it was very fun.

They charge for 15 people minnimum to reserve a field for four hours. This dosn't mean that we have to play in the same area but it we wish to play on a closed field (no open play) then there is a 15 person minnimum.

I've played a few times on private land where all we had to do was rent the equipment. We made our own boundaries and rules. Some people brought their own guns, which can be frustrating if your playing with a semi-auto rented piece of crap and getting killed by some full-auto, rocket launching thing, but it was a blast! . I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to rent some equipment and play someplace, like the farm?

The place to go is in Rosemount.

name of the place is "Splatball"

On Highway 55 just north of CR42.

Prices are 25/person for a private group of 12 or more.
This price includes all equipment rental for 4hours (mask/goggles/semi-auto gun/ulimited CO2) and Field Entry Fee.

If you have less that 12 the costs of the number bellow 12 people is split between everyone.

Paint is the only cost which is separate from the rest. A case of 2000 paintballs is 100$ on site. This may sound like alot but if you bring your own in they charge 10$ extra per person entry fee. So unless you are fireing like over 1500 yourself its more to bring your own even if you pay 50-60 per case of 2000.

Last time we went i was fairly liberal with the trigger and i only fired off like 700 or so. It seemed to me the best way to go would be to split a case between 3 guys. 2 people if your absolutly trigger happy. And beyond that buy with cash by the bag of 100.

Again
bag of 100 = 7$
case of 2000 = 100$

Then tax is added onto all of that....
