So last night, Thursday 11-29, my brother and one of our friends went out to Liquor Larry's or some bar in uptown, and parked in the Hollywood video parking lot.

After a long night of drinking we come out to the car to find that the drivers side window is shattered and theieves had torn through Mike's car and stolen some of his Army gear. While on the phone to the police I noticed glass near the passenger side, meaning that the worthless pile of shitfucks that broke into the car, also broke into the one next to his.

Why are there people like this? I HATE THIS. They took a bunch of shit, including his Kevlar, LCE (Belt, webgear, ammopouches, canteen), Rucksack FULL of gear, etc etc. He'll get this replaced but the point is FUCK THESE MOTHERFUCKERS.

Hey, Mike, if you see some worthless pile of shitfuck wandering around Minneapolis with an Army issue Kevlar on his head wearing an Army issue rucksack and web gear, cuff him and bring him over to my house. Okay? Fuckers.

If you have a can of coke and a ding dong laying in plain site in your car in uptown, prepare to get broken into.

That sucks man

pieces of shit are EVERYWHERE!!!!! not just uptown.

i try not to have anything of value in a vehicle that i go down town in, so that i dont have to lock it, and not get the windows broken out. i know, i know, you have no need for this shit now.

the farm was broken into in '93 and the worthless fucks responsible live two houses down the street!!!! and i cant do a damn thing about it!!! and they have had children who have stolen the face off a radio in a truck i had sitting out there...two months ago. just stupid shit.

the name of the bar ???? liquor-lyles???
two-fers three times daily. great place to get fucked-up.

I remember the farm getting jacked. How did you figure out who did it???????

And most importantly, where is this liquor lyle's? you cant got wrong with 2fers any time of day.

A friend of my pops who happens to live down near lake street caught a guy trying to steal his car. He made him put his hand on the curb and stomped on it with his boots
Why cant it always be that easy?
Not that being a vigilante is the right thing anymore either. Too many repurcusions if you have a family and such.

Ever seen Death Wish with Charles Bronson? hehe

It definitely isn't just Mpls. I know plenty of Eaganites that have had their car stereos stolen in quiet Eagan neighborhoods, myself included. I don't think I'll ever install a nice aftermarket stereo in a vehicle, it's just not worth it. It sure is amazing the other shit they'll take though. At the apartment, someone rooted through my car and left the radar detector in the glove box alone but took a cheap socket set I had under the seat! WTF?!? What's so infuriating is that there are ZERO consequences for this crap, the theives never get caught and even if they did, nothing happens to them so why wouldn't they steal? I hope they all burn in hell.

I seem to remember Klaus's car being broken into and some speakers stolen. But didn't we figure out who did it and somehow get the stolen items back?????????

I've had my CD's stolen out of my car while it was parked IN THE FUCKING DRIVEWAY! Anyone dumb enough to break into cars infront of the cop station should be fucking offed. The funny thing is they didnt even TOUCH my aftermarket CD player i have installed. You would think that someone with the intention of stealing shit out of cars would go the whole nine yards. Listen, if your gonna fuck someone, fuck them all the way instead of doing some half-assed job.

Two years ago my partner had his little Suzuki parked on 5 st right in front of the MPLS Police Downtown Command. It was actually parked in between the signs that said marked squad only parking. He was on patrol in a squad and pulled up to the station to take a piss. Believe it or not there was a man that had just unzipped his back window and was in the process of trying to hotwire it. I'm not fucking kidding either. When my partner was ordering him out of his personal car at gunpoint this stupid dumb fuck was shouting that it was his own car. What did my partner answer with? Why, of course he informed him that he knew it wasn't because it was his. After a short trip to the hospital for some stiches this dipfuck was booked into jail. FUNNY SHIT

Nice Mikey, say I heard an interesting story from ProfBooty about a Friday night ridealong that involved, "What am I, a fucking clown to you? Get on the sidewalk!".

Would anyone else be interested in a New Topic titled, "Fireside Stories with Mikey?"

Tell us some more funny stories Mikey!

I still chuckle when I think of it and everyone I've told it to laughs and goes, "yeah, I can see Mike saying that". Thanks again Mike for the ride-along and for making my night. That was more fun and amusement than I've had in a long time and it's always a delight for me to see someone who truly enjoys his job as it's obvious you do. I thought stupidity gave me job security. My stupid users have nothing on all those fine Minneapolis shitbags you get to work with on a nightly basis. Cassandra's looking into Wild tickets for you and Jen so I'll let you know what we come up with as soon as I can.

And yes, if you ever feel so compelled Mike, I think a Mike's Cop Stories section on this forum would rock!
