After the 90 degree weather and the thunder storms this week (marble to pinball sized hail this morning!) I thought of two fun office pools people can try:

1. Tornado Pool. Pick the date and/or city of the first damaging tornado in Minnesota. Verification is though property damage. "A county sheriff spotted a funnel-cloud on the ground," isn't good enough. Up-rooted trees and roofs blown off are good.

2. Infant Heat-Death Pool. Pick the date of the first cooked baby left in an automobile by a forgetful/careless/stupid parent or babysitter. I bet after six hours in a 210-degree car the meat falls right off the bone like a good roast! Slow cooked in its own juices! Mmmmm! Bonus $$$ for guessing the correct race, language, or city of residence.
