If anyone wants to run a VIN number on a vehicle send it to me - I have a 30 day membership to carfax.com.

Are you shopping?

Maybe [Wink]

Time for the Cruiser to be retired to a non-commuting weekend vehicle. Looking at Celica's at the moment.

Where will you park all this nonsense....

i have a little subaru that would be a perfect comuter. Yours free. Or, trade me some magic cards for it....

It ran, last time I started it over a year ago...

I plan on parking shit everywhere - all over the yard until the neighbors call the city again.....

Your Subaru "started" but didn't exactly "run" for a long period of time if I remember correctly. [Big Grin]

Maybe I should sell me 4runner and put a winch on the Cruiser with the cash:)

No TDI?????

I am trying to be smart about the cost of a damn commuter car. The TDI's are too darn expensive (break even is like 7 years), because they have only been made for a few years and there aren't many of them. I can't find one for under 10k-12k.

I will save $150 a month in gas by switching to a 30mpg car from a 10mpg truck. So a $6000 car or about $200 a month payment is a decent idea for a Celica..... Just my thought process anyway. [Smile]

Yeah I don't really know anything about pricing on the used TDI's, you've obviously looked into it. Just cool vehicle/engine.

Makes total sense. What year celica do you think you can get into?

I am test driving a 1996 GT tomorrow that if all goes well I will probably buy. 78,000 miles and I have her down to under $7,000 (listed at $9,800 lol). I have looked at it before but due to no insurance I haven't driven it. It's super clean, loaded, silver in color.

If you want a 4cyl comuter that is also fun to drive nothing is more reliable that an acura integra.
