Ha! First post in '08.

I win!

Thanks for the invite to your holiday Rock Band Party. Looks like it was fun.

No, wait! It was gay! You all suck.

ROFL. Come on Brent, you know you want to sing vocals on "Run to the Hills".

Too true.
I actually won this game in a contest, but I don't have an XBOX 360, so I gave it to a friend. When I dropped it off, we played for a while (with my 7 year old son) and I belted out Mississippi Queen quite well - enough to "save" my son on drums 3 times and pass the song.
That, of course, was the end of my voice for the rest of the day. I wasn't even aware "Run to the hills" was on it - I'll have to give that one a go.
After watching Chad on vocals in that video, I think he should be fired. NO STAGE PRESENCE! If you're the lead singer, you are the face of the band - you've got to be moving around and gyrating those hips. His performance put me to sleep.
I would have welcomed more cowbell at anytime during that boredom-fest.

Remember when we would go here for wings?

A fire gutted a building housing Maxwells and Scandia on Washington Ave. S.

A favorite lunchtime spot for downtown workers, and a neighboring furniture store sustained heavy damage in a blaze in downtown Minneapolis today.

Yep. I've gone there for over 18 years... and now it's gone. Best wings anywhere - I don't know why. It might have been the same oil used for 20+ years, I'm just not sure. Used to be a big time cop hang out too, but that seemed to taper off after it was sold to new owners.

A sad day indeed...
