We almost got in a magic fight at The Source last night. Ask Chad for details...

And the guy with the soup pot on his head sneaking up from behind and beating you with a nerf bat... Were you tramitized?? How did you escape with your life? Um... ya... that connection makes a lot of sense
Bluegrass is great (Bluegrass and Jazz are the only true American Art-forms, basically completely invented here). Lots of different music rocks. Why would you ever limit what your willing to listen too, how boring. There is honestly no genre of music that I cant find some songs to appreciate.

So Chad what happened? Did you have to pull out your teen age ninja turtles skills?

Did i say that i limit what i listen too. Bluegrass is uninteresting and I find it humorous that you listen to it thats all....
I listen to alot of jazz....many different kinds of jazz. Some say blue grass is a form of jazz. Other forms of jazz are far too different to lump true blugrass in with jazz. Maybe Im not missing enough teeth to like bluegrass but it is very uninteresting and non-musical to me kinda like hip-hop and country. NOT MUSIC
I like clasic jazz (Miles Davis, etc) but find newer artists more interesting.
-Richard Elliot -Spyra Gyra -Russ Freeman (The Rippingtons) -Boney James -Peter White -David Benoit

No.... I thought your comments too stupid to respond too. Arguing about music taste is on the same level as arguing about Ford/Chevy/Dodge.....
Bluegrass predates Jazz by 50-75yrs, and many of the oldest lyrics originally came from England, the music itself was mostly invented here. Bluegrass did not come from jazz roots, nor did it come from Jazz. Jazz was completely invented here.

It's funny how we still haven't heard about the Magic Fight, but instead started a Music Fight.

Chad, tell everyone what happened. It was mostly comical because the judge dude was about 5 foot 2 and had a serious case of what my wife calls SMS (Short Man Syndrome). He thought he was the ruler of our magic domain lol
Highlights include
Chad blowing a gasket over a magic interaction.
Dude Chad was playing being equally bull headed with his side of it.
Judge getting called over
Judge Giving Shaun and I Game losses for standing next to Chad. (he musta been the emporer and we were his bodyguards ) (Keep in mind we both had already dropped from the tournament so we were like huh?
Judge having a SHIT FIT when Shaun tried to give his unbiased witness recollection of the ensuing events.
Chad stating "This is complete BULLSHIT! I will NEVER spend a single dime here again! I can't believe the way you treat people!" (If you swear and a judge hears you it is an instant removal from the premises) Then Chad proceeds to up the ante by telling the judge "Go ahead! DO IT"
Shaun tries to apologize for speaking in the presence of the judge making his ruling and the judge screams "Your out of here! I am trying to make my ruling!" Kicking him out lol
I am standing there in awe because this was absolutely the funniest 5 minutes I have ever experienced at a tournament.

It was quite funny. Once again houser overstates things a little though.
My opponent was playing and acting like a jackass. All huffy and anoyed the whole time. Mainly due to the fact that I shuffled his deck after watching him stack it.
He tries to pull a fast one on me and i try to call him on it.
Judge is called.
Judge is exactly as mike describes him. I lay into the guy after he blatently verbally abuses both Mike and Shaun for no reason.
And what I said was (knowing full well that swearing gets you kicked out).
"Why the hell do you have to treat people like that? Why would we come back here and spend money when you treat your customers this way? This is bullshit!" Go ahead DO IT!" (challenging him to kick me out)
He imediatly backs down after another totaly unbelveable exchange with shaun....and i again ask him why i should come spend money there ever again.
It was quite funny.

So you can't talk when the "judge" is making his decision?? What does this judge think he is the supreme court or something? Was he wearing a cape?
Don't you guys feel this is just silly overall - I mean what is the top prize? Like 5 packs of cards? I would have taken a page out of Pfaff's book and pooped on the guys car.

Everyone is way to serious at that place. Most of the players there are older than I am.
It was quite silly. And in hindsight, definetly not worth it. I think drafting once every couple weeks is enough for me. It was the first constructed tournament I had been to in quite a while. That constructed tournament crap is for people that have way to much time on their hands to build and test decks. I work to much.

Im just disapointed that i left like 2 minutes before all this happened and missed out on some great entertainment.
