Well I bit the bullet and signed up for Pacific through the link that Klaus provided in July. $50 bucks for a nice set of poker chips seems pretty good to me [Wink] I also got 25% of my initial buyin added to my account so I started with $63 dollars. One 5.50 NL sit-n-go and I am up $25 more after winning first place. I will give a report after a few more games. I will say that some people stay on horrible hands and end up getting that garbage hit on the turn or river to win the hand. Happened a couple times in this sit-n-go. I can definately see losing a few sit-n-go's based on this happening against you so you cannot expect to win or even place in every one...

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

There are some (alot) of idiots on Pacific - but that's where they say the money is because all the beginners play there. To get the chips you need to play a certain number of raked hands. I played about a week of a combination of .10/.20 ring games and $5/.50 sit-n-gos and got the chips. Looks like he is out of the chips for a couple more weeks so you will play enough hands by the time he gets more.

If you want some real easy money play the 6 person $5 sit-n-gos. You don't win much money but it's really hard not to get into the top two.

He said that my chips would be sent out in a week. They got a new shipment yesterday. The sit-n-go I played was a 10 person table. Have you played in their nightly $10,000 big tournament? Wonder how many people play in it and if it is worth trying?

Brad plays in those big tourneys on party poker. They take a long time to play and you usually only get a seat in a higher tourny if you place. If I had the time I would try them.

Good that they got the chips in. I would play some ring games so that your hands are getting raked until the chips arrive. The sit-n-gos only count as one rake (the 2nd number in the $5/.50). These affiliates get paid a percentage of the rakes from the poker site - so they want to know you are going to play a bunch before he sends the chips. He's a good guy tho.

I found a new strategy for making money on the ring games. Go on tilt!!! This makes the entire table go on tilt! Now, (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) tighten up! Now you rake in the overinflated pots, by the idiots who assume you have nothing.

Go on tilt = Start acting crazy...raise every hand...re-raise...stay with anything.

Ring games are the ones that aren't tournaments...ie. 1/2 or 2/4, etc.

Basically play like a beginner (gamble every hand). Go crazy with Ax or K6 or any two face cards.....Play like the first 6 people that go out in the 10 player tourneys....
