Anyone know anything about this game? Everytime I am at BB I look at it and am interested. It's a pay to play type game - but looks like Diablo2 type of setup.

I played the Open Beta for a couple months and quit when the game released. I would look at another game for your MMORPG fix. (read SWG) The grinding to get high enough level to do the castle sieges which are what the game is all about is HORRIBLE. It takes hours upon hours to get anywhere. You also are very limited as to what your character can look like due to the huge castle sieges. In order to prevent lag, they only gave you a few looks so that it wouldn't lag when a ton of people were gathered in one place. I was part of a couple sieges and the lag is still very bad. You basically go get quests from NPC's to gain money (Adena) by killing monsters again and again and again. Certain monsters drop certain loot that is used for these quests and they are horribly camped also. The PVP stuff is good and bad. If there are other details you want, let me know. You need to be in a guild or allegiance in order to succeed because solo, you get overrun.

Most of the mags were disappointed in this one as well.

I won't play it for 2 simple reasons:

1. I'm already stuck level building in FFXI
2. World Of Warcraft
3. If I quit FFXI I would jump in on SWG
4. Madden
5. Beer
6. Silent Storm, Neverwinter Nights, Dues Ex 2, Freelancer and all the other great games that I've bought, and barely even played.
7. Doom 3
8. Half Life 2
9. House shopping.
10. Beer.

Ok, well it "looked" cool on the box. Thanks for the input. I will just stick to Doom3 and hopefully HL2 for the time being.

I will install SWG on my other computer in a week or so and start over. I just haven't had time to play until now and my 14 days is about over.

The real game had a price drop to 30 bucks now. It is 14 dollars a month to play.

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

Well in the summer there isn't time for much gaming at all. Henry still sleeps 8PM-7AM so if I sacrifice some sleep... (NOT happening anymore)
