FOR SALE I don't have the gun here in AK so I'm just going on memory.
Model 7400 semi-auto 30.06 (If its not the 7400 its the older equivalent model, the gun looks the same as this model on Remingtons website).
There is a 2x9 or 3x12 scope on it, unfortunatly it "may" be slightly damaged. However the gun is sighted, shoots straight and can put 2inch groupings at 100yrds (if your that good a shot )
Asking $300 OBO - I would prefer to sell it in MN while I'm there and not have to bring it to AK to sell - MAKE ME AN OFFER if your interested.

Does it have the 22" barrel? Does it hold 4 shells? Is the scope damaged or the gun? If the scope is I may be interested. Any scratches? Age of the gun? When will you be in town?

No worries about the questions, thats the whole point.
I think its the 22' barrel but I'll have to check.
It has the bottom fed clip, I believe it holds 4 or 5 bullets in the clip.
The gun is absolutely fine, although it's not glass-bedded, which is something I always had planned on doing. I dropped the gun from my deer stand a long time ago. It knocked the scope WAY out of wack. It took a long time to get it sighted back in. I think the cross-hairs within the scope may move just a hair's width occasionally. The grouping is very good on it as is (prob 2-3 inchs @ 100yrds), I just could never get it to bullseye repetatively again (which I could before dropping it). If I were keeping the gun I would just be replacing the scope, (and glass bedding it if you really want to make it accurate).
Gun is in excellent shape, blue'd with a wooden stock. I don't know the exact production date but I've owned it for approx 14-16yrs, and I bought it used.
The reason I'm selling it is I'm getting a slightly larger gun for Moose here in AK and I don't need the second rifle.
I'll be in the cities from the July 25th to the 28th and then Aug 3rd to 6th. Klaus knows how to get in contact with me when I'm there.

Now thats being not just a grammar nazi, but a Anal Retentive Grammar Nazi.
Have you ever seen a 4 or 2 gauge shotgun, there are even a few handmade operations still in England. The barrel on the 2 gauge I saw had to be about 7 feet long, and shot a blast of fire about 4feet out the barrel when fired. The shells were custom and looked like a roll of .50cent pieces.

If you cant do this tomorrow you can still check it out at my parents place, but soon cause they're moving and need the place cleaned out.

My parents close on the house on the 30th of August. If you could stop by after work this week that would be great. My parents are typically not here on the weekends. The phone number I gave you is my parents house, so call here and tell them you talked to me about the gun and they'll know that you want to come see it and they can tell you where the house is.
