Not a bad deal - but I doubt they'll slash the price much more if we buy three, unless they’re going out of business.

You should also think about joining the FJ-80 list on yahoo. There has been some good discussion on the OME J springs vs the regular OME lift lately. I guess the springs are different sizes right to left and are marked for Aust. trucks so if you install them how they are marked your truck will lean.

I've belonged to the '40 list for about five years. I usually delete all the messages I get from the list. I don't know why I don't just un-subscribe. I haven’t joined any other lists because of all the bullshit that goes on (probably why I haven’t joined the ToyX4 forum.) I prefer to lurk on forums and decide for myself who knows what they’re talking about.

My 4Runner is up and running as my winter driver now, so now I can get my ’80 into the garage for some long overdue maintenance and modifications!

THe OME springs are labeles DS & PS - so you can see the confusion. Jury is still out on if they are labeled correctly for the US market.

The 80's list is pretty good compared to others - most of the postss are about mods/installs/group purchases. I get it in my email box - but you can choose to just go to the web site and browse the messages.

I have been told by ARB USA that Drivers side and Passenger side mean just that, it does not matter if your is right or left hand drive, just install the springs in the correct locations, applicable to the truck that you are working on.

Seems pretty simple to me..but what do I know

Yep that's what ARB has told a couple of guys that called them directly about it. But some of the shops that have been pulling them in (Slee Offroad is one) has noted that there is a lean after installing as marked. They switched them and everything was correct...... So who the hell knows. [Roll Eyes]
