Before I start chain sawing apart the dash, chiseling holes in my windshield, or hole-sawing access though the firewall, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the heater valve is?

I thought it was somewhere on the passenger side behind the glove box?

It looks like they offered manual transmissions on rare 1999 & 2000 4WD and SR5 4WD models. It looks like the Limiteds and 2WD ( ) versions only came with autos.

I think that they only offered autos in 2001 and beyond.

This information came from searching classifieds and model information on www.cars.com

I think that it is on the firewall - driver side. I helped Bjergo with his slider once and I am pretty sure that's were it was.

A co-worker of a friend is looking for a good-used blower motor and switch from an '87 4Runner or equivalent. I don't know which years are interchangeable. Let me know if anyone has one and how much $$$.
