They are having a road race day at Dakota County Technical College on their race track today and Chad and I are going to bring his RX-7 and drive it. The only thing that we do not have that we need to pass inspection is helmets. We need Snell SA-95 or
newer, M-90 or newer

helmets in order to be allowed to drive or ride along. Where can we get one of these TODAY? I really could just borrow one being I am only doing a ride along this time but we all know that Chad most likely would not be able to fit into anything borrowed [Big Grin]

Everyone is welcome to meet up with us. It is free to spectate and there will be a lot of very cool cars zipping around the track. Klaus! You could come drive your celica... It is from 4:30-9:30 tonight.

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

I figured it out, M2000 is newer than M90. Just about every motorcycle helmet sold today is Snell M2000 rated. So Im just gonna get a cheap motorcycle helmet probably motorcross style and use that. That way i have it if I ever get a bike or 4 wheeler.

They have plain white and black motorcross helmets for 125 at leo's south.

Yeah klaus bring the celica!!! You can use your motorcycle helmet if it has the snell rating sticker on it. And all you need otherwise is battery terminal covers Of which are sold at any checker.

You are welcome to borrow my Snell approved helmets if you would like. They are located in my garage in my dirtbiking bag. It's a large black bag on the garage floor. I think it's near the door to the house. My bro should be home to let you in of just walk in through to the garage. If you are set on purchasing them - try Leo's South in Lakeville or Bob's cycle supply in Roseville. They run about $125-$300.

Wish I could come watch but I have dinner plans with my Dad.

That would be great if I could borrow one Klaus! If we have fun and it is something we will continue to do, I will definately go buy one. I will swing out towards your place after work around 4ish. Will Steve still be around then? If not, maybe he could leave it someplace for me to grab? We will make sure to take some pictures of the action..

He should be home. I will email him and tell him to get it for you. But if I am unable to contact him just go in and grab it out of my bag, it's no big deal (except the garage is a fuckin pit right now). Grab either the HGC or Thor helmet but make sure the sticker you need is still on the outside. Don't grab the one in the helmet bag - it's Michelle's and very small.

Have fun - get some photos.
