Anyone else see one of these. Its the 4-door mini-truck, but they've finally added a bed thats worthwhile. I thik its around 6.5ft long total.
I checked on toyotas site to see if they mention anything like this coming up. Any of you guys hear that toyota will offer this anytime soon???

Yeah, well the frontier is such a piece of underpowered shit why would Toyota want to catch up?

Yep the frontier needs the supercharger to come close to the Toyota. The power won't be as smooth with a S/C. I remembered when they first started to hit the road without the S/C, 4wheel offroad rated them last. The next comparison (with supercharger) ranked them slightly higher but not even close to the Tacoma. Ask Brad what he thought about the Xterra..... (here is a hint - super under-powered with the V6, the interior fell apart in the year he drove it, in the mtns last year my Cruiser ran circles around it) I have heard good things about the Pathfinder this year though.

210 with. So thats 20 more hp with the supercharger.
Power is just as smooth with superchargers. You are thinking of turbo's where power is not as smooth. I have driven a s/c v6 and it is very quick and powerful throughout it's powerband. I do agree that the v6 without it is underpowered but then again so is the tacoma, i have driven both.

Clearly,
Your ability to do simple math when someone has spoken ill about a fucking datsun falls right in the shitter. Those datsuns have and will allways suck. I do not care what year...they all suck.

Brad's Gay-Terra sounded like it was going to blow apart when it downshifted. Plus he only got 10-12 mpg. When he asked the dealer they said - "yeah, that's what they get". WTF is with that - that's? My cruiser gets better then that and it's a big heavy all wheel drive pig.

Both Nissan and Toyota Dealers are usually full of shit.
I have almost the same engine. In my pathfinder. (the x-terra is just bored over to 3.3L vs my 3.0L) And i most of the time get between 18 and 20. WITH and auto. The only time i ever got bad gas millage was towing (around 14) and in the winter when my thermostat was stuck wide open (15-16). Quite simply something was WRONG. I dont think nissan could get away with selling a truck that gets 10-12 when the window sticker says 15-19. But hey, wtf do i know.
