Doc Ock effects were incredible. Good story Great action sequences
Cons:
Some cheesy dialogue Some cheesy unneccessary parts Some of the CGI was fuzzy and cartoonish...less than perfect when you're expecting perfection.
I know they had to rush this movie to hit the release date, and they said that the CGI effects were going to take a hit. Chad said it best when he said that we've come to expect so much from CGI that you really pick out the less than perfect parts.
You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.
Anyway, that didn't take away from the fact that the movie was really good...

I was just listening to a review on radio (talk show host that has not seen it yet) - he stated that it's so good that you wont' even notice the effects they are so perfect. I guess that's the buzz that's surrounding the movie. Interesting that you guys said the exact opposite.
Have you ever seen the movie "Driven"? Now there are some obvious digital effects.

I really liked it too, but pretty much agree with Boon's review. There was some REALLY cheezy dialogue and some plain silly parts in the movie. They were so rediculous and over the top at times that you just had to laugh, like when spiderman was crowdsurfing through a train.
Also, i though the acting by the guy who plays Peter's friend (forget his character name, but hes the guy that will be the hobgoblin) was a little exaggerated and fakey.
Even so, the story and incredible action scenes made up for it. The fight on top of the train was unbelievible, and i thoght the CGI in that part was very well done.
4/5

Good movie. I liked it more then the first. I will say this about the effects - there were some really good ones... But there were also some really bad ones too.
