Almost as much time as someone "scrolling" though the movie reviews.

You know I am incredibly busy at work. I'm so pissed off at one of our buyers that I needed a break before I exploded.
It was jsut something that I noticed and thought was interesting. So....

I've got a feeling people see as many movies as we do, they just don't post their reviews...

I'm not so sure. I know that the only time I actually watch movies is with Scott. Most of the time he just watches them without me.
I just want to know where everyone has two hours of their day to sit and watch a movie (and review them in yours and Scott's case)

Maybe I am just the odd one that accomplishes things in my free time (whatever of it I actually have).
Still, if everyone watches as many movies as you two do, why is no one posting on them?
Maybe I'm not so far off in my accessment?

There aren't that many reviews if you really look. But I enjoy watching movie instead of watching network TV or reading most of the time.
And to be honest - you prefer over watching movies (not accomplishing things) .

Sorry, I was just about to post that same thing but had to look it up because I don't even know how it's spelled.

Very funny... I'm to use to spell check that I just type and send.
Scott- yes I do prefer sleep instead of night movies, but more sleep allows me to keep more done in the time I am awake. Also, you like to watch movies on Saurday and Sunday afternoons more then at nights. That is just wasting a good afternoon to me. I see watching movies as something you do when it is snowing outside and you can't do anything or go anywhere.

Sounds like you two have a very functional relationship!
I think Brad and I watch a movie a month. Then when we decide to watch a movie that Scott burned and loaned us, it doesn't work and we get frustrated and end up not watching it (by the way, Matchstick Men has some serious scratches on it!)

Amy, it goes in the DVD player, not the VCR.

Sorry bout those... Some DVD players can't read the very end of the burned movies well. The Sony burner I have is also known for issues right at the end of the movie. I did watch all of those movies on my stand alone DVD player.
Problem solved with new burner I have now.

I think everyone now knows way too much about my movie viewing habits and spelling habits.
You don't have to do everything together with someone to have a functional relationship. There have actually been studies done that show that couples tend to be happier when they do some things apart.

Personal plates are cheap here. I missed getting "Jomama" by a week or two, as I checked with the DMV, they had it, and went back in a week and it was taken

Here is an article. I can't get into the actual journal because you would be charged to view it, but this is a press release from the journal.
It's titled Compatibility, Leisure, and Satisfaction in Marital Relationships web page

BRILLIANT!
If I make my wife do something she doesn't like to do (watch football, play video games, download porn) just because I like to do it...she'll be unhappy 2 to 13 years from now!
OR
If I am forced to do something my wife likes to do (shop, clean, decorate, not watch porn or play video games) I'll be unhappy 2 to 13 years from now.
EUREKA! Glad to see they monitored couples from 15 years to give us these incredible statistics.

Gives you something to look forward to huh Boon
I think you and Tiff would be just fine.
The main point of the study is that doing everything together can actually do more harm then good if the other person doesn't enjoy it.

Oh I got that...but I would think that was fairly obvious.
That was my main point.
And I know Tiff and I will be just fine.

Despite how obvious it is, how many times have you done things you didn't want to do just to make the other person happy and "spend time together"? I know we have all done it. In the long term, if continued, that can do harm to the relationship.
