Wish I had bought stock in this company... +10 today. Interesting.... who could be wanting to aquire the company?
WPT Enterprises confirms takeover offer (WPTE) 28.20 +10.45:-Update- WPTE announces that it had received an unsolicited offer to acquire the co. The offer states that it is for $700 mln, but does not specify terms. The co is attempting to verify the credibility of the offer in order to evaluate it. (Both WPTE and LACOE -- majority owner of WPTE -- are halted.)
