The world is crying about some humiliating photos of Iraqis and calling for Rumsfield to resign but nothing is said about the Americas that were mutilated and dragged through the streets. Now we have this......... fuck these assholes.

Video Seems to Show Beheading of American

CAIRO, Egypt - A video posted Tuesday on an Islamic militant Web site showed the beheading of an American civilian in Iraq (news - web sites), and said the execution was carried out by an al-Qaida affiliated group to avenge the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers.

The video showed five men wearing headscarves and black ski masks, standing over a bound man in an orange jumpsuit — similar to a prisoner's uniform — who identified himself as Nick Berg, a U.S. contractor whose body was found on a highway overpass in Baghdad on Saturday.

"My name is Nick Berg, my father's name is Michael, my mother's name is Susan," the man said on the video. "I have a brother and sister, David and Sarah. I live in ... Philadelphia."

After reading a statement, the men were seen pulling the man to his side and putting a large knife to his neck. A scream sounded as the men cut his head off, shouting "Allahu Akbar!" — "God is great." They then held the head out before the camera.

Berg was a small-business owner from the Philadelphia suburbs, his family said Tuesday.

Berg's family said they knew their son had been decapitated, but didn't know the details of the killing. When told of the video by an Associated Press reporter, Berg's father, Michael, and his two siblings hugged and cried.

"I knew he was decapitated before. That manner is preferable to a long and torturous death. But I didn't want it to become public," Michael Berg said.

The video tape included a statement by one of the executioners:

"For the mothers and wives of American soldiers, we tell you that we offered the U.S. administration to exchange this hostage with some of the detainees in Abu Ghraib and they refused."

"So we tell you that the dignity of the Muslim men and women in Abu Ghraib and others is not redeemed except by blood and souls. You will not receive anything from us but coffins after coffins ... slaughtered in this way."

The video bore the title "Abu Musab al-Zarqawi shown slaughtering an American." It was unclear whether al-Zarqawi — a lieutenant of Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) — was shown in the video, or was claiming responsibility for ordering the execution.

The Web site on which the video was posted is known as a clearing house for al-Qaida and Islamic extremist groups' statements and tapes.

The family of Berg, 26, of West Chester, Pa., said they were informed by the U.S. State Department on Monday that Berg was found dead near a highway overpass in Baghdad.

Berg's mother, Suzanne Berg, said her son was in Iraq as an independent businessman to help rebuild communication antennas. He had been missing since April 9, she said.

"He had this idea that he could help rebuild the infrastructure," she said.

The U.S. military Tuesday said an American civilian was found dead in Baghdad, but did not release his identity. State Department spokeswoman Susan Pittman said she couldn't release the name of the dead American, but said she not aware of more than one civilian found dead in recent days.

The military said there were signs of trauma to the body. Suzanne Berg said she was told her son's death was violent but did not want to discuss details.

Berg, who was in Baghdad from late December to Feb. 1, returned to Iraq in March. He didn't find any work and planned again to return home on March 30, but his daily communications home stopped on March 24. He later told his parents he was jailed by Iraqi officials at a checkpoint in Mosul.

"He was arrested and held without due process," his father, Michael Berg, told the Daily Local News of West Chester recently. "By the time he got out the whole area was inflamed with violence.

The FBI (news - web sites) on March 31 interviewed Berg's parents in West Chester. Jerri Williams, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia FBI office, told The Philadelphia Inquirer the agency had been "asked to interview the parents regarding Mr. Berg's purpose in Iraq."

On April 5, the Bergs filed suit in federal court in Philadelphia, contending that their son was being held illegally by the U.S. military. The next day Berg was released. He told his parents he hadn't been mistreated.

The Bergs last heard from their son April 9, when he said he would come home by way of Jordan, Turkey or Kuwait. But by then, hostilities in Iraq had escalated.

Suzanne Berg on Tuesday said she was told her son's body would be transported to Kuwait and then to Dover, Del. She said the family had been trying for weeks to learn where their son was but that federal officials had not been helpful.

"I went through this with them for weeks," she said. "I basically ended up doing most of the investigating myself."

What's the deal with this chick? Boon - do all MP units have whores like this in them [Smile]

LEASH GAL'S SEX PIX

By VINCENT MORRIS and DEBORAH ORIN
-------------------------------------------------
May 13, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Shocking shots of sexcapades involving Pfc. Lynndie England were among the hundreds of X-rated photos and videos from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal shown to lawmakers in a top-secret Capitol conference room yesterday.
"She was having sex with numerous partners. It appeared to be consensual," said a lawmaker who saw the photos.

And, videos showed the disgraced soldier - made notorious in a photo showing her holding a leash looped around an Iraqi prisoner's neck - engaged in graphic sex acts with other soldiers in front of Iraqi prisoners, Pentagon officials told NBC Nightly News.

"Almost everybody was naked all the time," another lawmaker said.

Many members of Congress left the 45-minute viewing session early, thereby missing the porno performance by England, but there were enough other images of torture, humiliation and intimidation to sicken anyone.

"It was pretty disgusting, not what you'd expect from Americans," said Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.). "There was lots of sexual stuff - not of the Iraqis, but of our troops."

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who also characterized the photos as "disgusting," agreed, noting, "It's hard to believe that this actually is taking place in a military facility."

The shocking photos and videos, provided on computer disks by Pentagon officials, showed attack dogs snarling at cowering prisoners, Iraqi women forced to expose their breasts, and naked prisoners tied together on the floor, senators revealed as they emerged from the heavily guarded conference room.

"It was significantly worse than I had anticipated," said Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore). "Take the worst case and multiply it over several times."

"I don't know how these people got into our Army," said Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colo.), who reported seeing "several pictures of Iraqi women who were disrobed or putting their shirts up."

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) described the images as "more detailed and more graphic than the pictures that have been released publicly," referring to the disturbing photos of Iraqis being abused at Abu Ghraib prison that surfaced two weeks ago, and which Islamic terrorists claim led to this week's revenge beheading of American Nick Berg.

"Normally, I side with disclosure and openness, but in this case, these photos are evidence," Schumer said, indicating that he favors keeping the lid on the alarming pictures, as Vice President Dick Cheney and Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) have urged.

Rep. Jane Harman (Calif.), ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said she was most appalled by a video of a handcuffed prisoner beating his head against a wall in an apparent bid to knock himself unconscious to escape abuse.

In another video clip, she said, a group of men were shown masturbating.

Before the pictures of England's sex romps were shown to Congress, the 21-year-old reservist from West Virginia tried to portray herself as a reluctant participant who was just following orders.

"I didn't really, I mean, want to be in any pictures," England told a Denver TV station.

"I was instructed by persons in higher rank to 'stand there, hold this leash, look at the camera,' and they took picture for PsyOps [psychological operations]," she told KCNC-TV.

England acknowledged "it was kind of weird" when she was photographed smiling, with a cigarette in her mouth, as she leaned forward and pointed at the genitals of a naked, hooded Iraqi at Abu Ghraib prison.

England has refused to identify who gave her the orders, saying only that they came from "persons in my chain of command."

England faces a military court-martial that includes charges such as conspiracy to maltreat prisoners and assault consummated by battery.

She could face punishment ranging from a reprimand to more than 15 years in prison.

I saw her on Fox last night - she claims a "higher-up" told her to do these things. I am pretty sure that no superior told her to have sex with several other MP's at the same time - as Iraiq prisoners masterbated....... She is soooo fucked (no pun intended)...

What a nightmare, its like something out of lord of the flies...

Anyone actually watch the Nick Berg Video? I havn't been able to talk myself into it yet. Started the full video at least twice (www.entensity.net) but always killed the window before they even finish talking.

It would be the first time for me to actually see someone die....not a 1st i am activly striving for.

They played the audio of it AT LEAST 7 times over different shows on 1500 yesterday. It sounds just awful... [throwup]

I have heard the audio but haven't seen the video. I am angry enough at the moment - but I will view it the next time I get a feeling that maybe we can reason with these people etc.

The major media is largly ignoring the Berg story and have choosen to focus on the prisoner abuse stuff - it sickens me to see any parallel drawn between a stack of naked murderers and a be-heading. [brd]

The video is also linked at http://www.dennisprager.com/

I just watched it for the first time. It just strenghtens my views and pisses me off even more.

About the pics... You know if they were taken by some "artist" they would be worth thousands of dollars and labeled "modern art"! and the artist would have probably gotten money for the "project" from a government grant....

All I can say is I watched it (now I feel sick to my stomach). [throwup]

It was not what I expected. I assumed they used a very large machete and did it with one quick move (like in Hollywood). Not so (I'll leave it at that).

As far as this England bitch is concerned.... that shit is more comical than anything. And the fact that the press is blowing it up into a huge deal and focusing more on this than the brutality that terrorists are using on our CIVILIANS is total bullshit. This "abuse" of al-quida soldiers pales in comparison to burning people alive then dragging thenm through the streets, or decapitating them with a feking wooden cooking spoon or whatever the hell they used.

As far as the video goes, im going to watch it, then fly to iraq with a gatling gun strapped to my back and kill every mother fucker i see with a ski mask and gun. KILL THEM ALL! [Mad]

Well the naked pile of soldiers and dog leash are somewhat comical - but putting lightsticks in prisoners butts probably isn't the image the Iraq population should think of us by.

That's the main problem with this whole ordeal, we cant forget that being humiliated in thoes types of ways is worse than death in many cultures. Death even in the way that guy was killed is to have something honorable happen to you in thier view. It's all perspective....

Hey, I think Chad is on to something:
What if we secretly started distributing a little creditcard-like picture of Osama that had an electroninc tracking device so that anyone who carried these cards could be tracked, hunted and eliminated? Spread rumors there that the Al-Qiada was looking for new soldiers and if you wanted to be recruited you needed to be carrying one of these cards on you at all times. This way we can destroy their future recruits and scare the shit out of anyone even thinking about joining. Then we could sell "Hunting" licenses and maybe give them a scanner like they had in Aliens and off they go...

I can't believe the papers and media have moved on to the anti-America story so quickly (prisoner abuse...again)

One thing though, you think this guy was a CIA operative?

The more I read about this, the more I think he was there for something other than radio towers...

- He wasn't associated with one of the construction companies contracted over there...

- He had anti-semitic (sp) documentation on him...that says counter-intelligence if he's caputured to me...

- He's been to multiple "hot spots" in the last couple years "installing radio towers"...

- The government has disavowed knowledge of his work...

- The goverment "detained" him and was "questioning" him...

- He was roaming around Israel and Iraq by himself...

I'm not trampling on this guy or anything...I'm just trying to answer some questions.

Bottom line to me is: American killed (brutally) by terrorists. Why in the hell haven't we made an example of this Sunni triangle yet?!?! [brd] [gun1] [knife] [shoot]

Interesting theory, but it definatly doesnt change the fact that every one of those fuckers is going to deserve whats coming to them.

Oh, and here is a link to that thread for your reading entertainment. The weird spelling of "Ir4q" is done because Orleron made it so whenever you type in the word "Iraq" it automatically edits the post to change it from Iraq to "That stupid country AGAIN!" [lol] Anyways, its not too long of a read this time:

This makes me want to kill someone....

Yeah, there are many wierd things in his being there. Going through Isreal and other countries then Iraq is strange. Being alone with no security, being in Iraqi jail for 10 days. I don't think he's CIA but the whole thing is suspect. The worst part is his nut-job anti war father is blaming Bush for his death.....he was a civilian that was warned to leave Iraq by the FBI, come on.

What do you think about the Moussai connection? Wierd.

HANNITY AIRS UNCUT AUDIO OF BEHEADING

By JOHN MAINELLI

May 14, 2004 -- SEAN Hannity bucked the rest of the media yesterday and played the horrifying audio from the videotaped beheading of Nick Berg on his radio show.
The 33-second audio clip contained at least nine blood-chilling screams from Berg, heard over continuous terrorist chanting.

His final scream appeared to end with a gurgling sound.

"I think people need to know what we're dealing with - it's evil right before your eyes," said Hannity, the Fox News Channel personality whose syndicated radio show is based at WABC (770 AM).

"These people want to kill all Americans, not just this poor kid, Nick Berg," Hannity told The Post.

The high-rated talker said he gave listeners "ample time to tune out with a full and complete disclaimer.

"I counted down from 10 and said I didn't want to hear any complaints," he said.

TV newscasts, including FNC's, have screened only portions of the video, stopping short of showing the actual beheading.

WABC and its owner, Disney/ABC, got "very few complaints" after Hannity and another program aired audio of Berg's death, according to station exec Phil Boyce.

"Only a few left-wing wackos got through to me, and most of them had no problem displaying the Iraqi prisoners getting abused," Boyce said.

"That is an interesting double standard."

Hannity said he wouldn't show the video in full on his FNC show, "Hannity & Colmes."

"On TV, kids could look at it," he said.

Fox News Channel and The Post are owned by News Corp.

I read this in USA Today:

--------------
During the past few days, the news media have focused on the beheading of Paul Johnson in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Many have blamed the U.S. and the Bush administration. However, primary responsibility lies with, in this order, al-Qaeda, the American news media and selected politicians using the Iraqi prisoner-abuse scandal for political gain and grandstanding.

What happened to the Iraqi prisoners was wrong, but it was not torture; it was humiliation and embarrassment of men who had been fighting against the U.S. It pales in comparison to what Saddam Hussein did to his own people, what al-Qaeda did to the United States on 9/11 and to the militant group’s admitted beheadings of two other American citizens.

The military reported the prison abuses in January, and officials were dealing with the abuses as they should have – in a confidential manner. They had the common sense to know that going public would put the lives of American soldiers and citizens in danger. They knew that going public would only damage the United States at a time when we were at war and give our enemies publicity and excuses for doing what they were doing.

The media and certain politicians need to put the safety of our soldiers and citizens above their egos, rating and political agendas. They like to criticize the military, even though the service members’ integrity is far greater. If anyone doubts this, let him or her explain why these critics focused much more on the pictures of naked enemy prisoners than on the beheading of Nick Berg, another American hostage, in Iraq last month.

I would encourage the military not to tell the media or politicians anything. Our troops have enough to deal with overseas.
