Though the blame lies squarly on those directly responsible for this. I take issue with Spain and thier political actions following the attacks in Madrid. For pulling out of the middle east and adopting the policies they did (even though it was a voted in mandate from the people) they validated the actions of those bombers and IMO gave credence and modivation for something like this to happen exactly as it did. THE WORST thing the UK could do now is pull any troops out of the middle east.

I couldn't agree more with you Chad! I think England should immediately double the amount of troops in Iraq. Even though this would piss them off more I think it would send the right message.

I think colonization of the Middle East is the solution. [brd]

My concern is if this really was carried out by islamic extremists or not. Just because they claimed it was them on their fucking website doesnt mean we should believe them. England has had problems with terrorism from IRC (or whatever it is) for a long time.

Maybee France and Germany and other EU members will realize that the fight is in their backyard. Nevermind, spain aka france south pussied out of the war after they got bombed. The former Russian states might want to join in on the arab ass whooping. It has to be 100 fold more ravaging onto the assholes responsable, Japan found out the hard way, and so should the entire region harboring and funding these groups.

BBC edits out the word terrorist
By Tom Leonard
(Filed: 12/07/2005)

The BBC has re-edited some of its coverage of the London Underground and bus bombings to avoid labelling the perpetrators as "terrorists", it was disclosed yesterday.

Early reporting of the attacks on the BBC's website spoke of terrorists but the same coverage was changed to describe the attackers simply as "bombers".

The BBC's guidelines state that its credibility is undermined by the "careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments".

Consequently, "the word 'terrorist' itself can be a barrier rather than an aid to understanding" and its use should be "avoided", the guidelines say.

Rod Liddle, a former editor of the Today programme, has accused the BBC of "institutionalised political correctness" in its coverage of British Muslims.

A BBC spokesman said last night: "The word terrorist is not banned from the BBC."

“Jacques Chirac has officially raised the French terror alert from “Run” to “Hide”. There are only two higher alert levels in France, which are “Surrender” and “Collaborate”. The rise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France’s white flag factory – effectively crippling their military.”
