Sad fact: police are too often accused of "excessive use of force" and here we have a case where 2 officers go beyond what they should have to arrest a suspect who had already tried to kill them in my opinion. That fucker should have been gunned-down dead after the first stab ATTEMPT. Police departments should make .45/.44mag the MINIMUM caliber for side arms so when they need to shoot some scumbag they do serious damage. Nor should they be penalized for using equally devastating ammo.

I should find out more tonight when I get to work. The only thing I have seen or heard is the news report.
