Any of you using ASUS MBs use the utilities on the driver disk (E-Color 3Deep, ASUS Update, PC Probe)?

I only recommend ASUS probe for temp monitoring. With my board it's only really good for relative readings. Such as if it runs at 30C at start up then when gaming it goes to 42C. If you install the 3rd party temp monitors you will get more accurate readings.

Unless of course ASUS figured out which sensors to read from with your board. The problem was that instead of using the temp sensor inside the chip core for the CPU temp ASUS probe would take the temp from the socket sensor (under the chip - not inside the chip) and then add like 10C to estimate the core temp.......
