I have a brand new SOYO dragon motherboard that I wont be using if anyone needs one.
Its an Athlon board with onboard LAN. 5.1 audio, and a couple other nice features. it has a promise RAID controller on it and supports up to 6 IDE devices. (the raid can be set to IDE) I had another that had a bad PS/2 slot so i swapped it for this brand new one because of course i couldnt get my money back. I paid 150 for it online and general nanosystems carries it for 189. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can work out a deal or trade. All of the reviews for it have it rated as high as the Kg7 and the other asus and abit boards in its class. i have the exact same board in my new computer and have had no problems with it.

Yes, true I do hate Soyo. But I also hate buying another $200mb after I just got one 3 months ago.

But I do believe you get what you pay for.

Yeah i was going to get the asus or abit but every article i read about this board had only good things to say. I would have never bought a SOYO either. I think the pluses for it far exceed the fact that its a SOYO hehe.
I dont plan on building another puter for quite a while so I am kinda stuck with it unless someone needs one. If you want to take a look at it or throw it in a system to see if its anything you want let me know.

The new flash of the bios fixed all of the earlier problems anyone had with overclocking and overclocking with USB stuff.

I'm actually on my second SOYO with no problems with either one. As with everything else, you can get a bad one and it will taint your view of the company, wheeas others have no issues. My only advantage is that I have dealt with a multitude of hardware here at work and am able to see patterns of shit hardware...

It seems we always go round and round about whats shit and whats not be it computer parts or cars or whatever. While some of it is proven shit, a lot of it is personal preference or experience with said item.

Ford = Proven Shit
Jeep = Well Proven Shit

Computer Stuff
Amptron = Proven Shit
Everything else in computers is just a crap shoot. Because of how manufacturing is done there is allways a good possibiltiy you are gonna get junk. Or that you're gonna screw it up installing it.
