If you just want to move the contents of the folder to your website (US internet webserver)all you need to do is upload it to USinternet using an FTP programs. Remember you will need all the contents of the folder not just the html files.

Download a program such as WS_FTP. It will ask you for your domain name (example ftp.dipstix.com- call USI support for this) and your login and password. Once you are connected on the left of the screen are files on your computer on the right are files on the USinternet web server. browse to the folder with the files you want to move (on the left side). Find the folder on the right side that is called www (or whatever folder USI tells you is your web directory folder) and double click it. Select all the files on the left and click the arrow pointing to the right side. All the files you select will be copied into the www folder on the USI webserver. Now goto the internet and see if you have a www.dipstix.com/index.html

Hauser you might be of more help on this.

It's easier to just use a Frt page type program to post to a web server but FTP can get you started.

USI tech support should walk you though this.

We use USinternet to host our client sites and this is how we update/upload pages.

FTP is very easy once you set it up.

Download a copy of WS FTP. WS FTP LE is the easiest one to use.

after install click new to add a new site.
Select a profile name
the host name should be your website address
(www.whatever.com)
host type is microsoft NT
user ID is whatever you setup with them
password is whatever you setup with them
check save password
click apply a couple times
under the advanced tab uncheck passive transfer if it is selected.

go back to general and click ok.

The right side is your folder at USinternet
your left side is your computer.

to transfer your files you go to the folder they are at on the left side on your computer.
make sure they are in the correct folder on the right side (USinternet), highlight it on the left and click the arrow pointing right in between. It will copy the pages/files onto your space online.

If you want some help give me a shout with your web address, user name, password and I will make sure they have it all setup for you. If you email me the pages I can post them also for you if that will help. Just give me a shout on MSN. My name is Ragecrow or pm me here.

If you have it at USinternet on a server that supports coldfusion I can throw up some fun stuff for ya like contact forms, members only section, whatever.

Gisel, I was looking at the picture page and I do have to admit, you look pretty good for a gaming female. Having said that, don't expect any sympathy when we meet on the battlefield. I am a fighter first, lover second.

US internet says it will take about an hour to walk me through the process, which I don't have time to spend.
I just thought with all the experts out there this wouldn't have been this big of a deal. Even though the web site was not that cool, at least it was there. I love paying for shit I don't get! [Mad]

THANK YOU Mr. Pfaff! The DIPSTIX web site lives!

Now hopefully I won't fuck it up when I start playing with it!
