Any input? I have a lot of negatives from my Dads stuff and Jeanne has a fair number of slides. I am not inclined to spend a bunch, but I don't want to waste my money on a hunk of shit either.

I will see what Steve suggests. He has a canon that does a pretty good job.

I don't remember the brand name on the one that Steve D borrowed me but we used it for like a month and scanned a TON of stuff we had from way back. It did a really good job but took quite a while to figure out. Once we figured the software out we could scan numerous slides at one time. It also did large format which was nice.
