my wife's laptop will connect to our wireless for only 15 Min's then drop, but it will connect to the neighbors unsecured indeffinately. Should I jsut buy a new router, or try to monkey with this pos?

Try it unsecured see if that works. I had some problems with ours being secured too. I finally got a router that uses MAC filtering and that works best for me. PSP, PS3, network storage, laptop - all connect without a problem and no need for the fucking WEP keys.
