No, it's not a movie. But it is on HBO, and it if even half as good as BoB will be better than about 99.99% of movies.

I am really excited for this miniseries. Band of Brothers was so superb i have watched the whole series on DVD twice now. Which is not the kind of time i usually spend on anything coming from a glowing box....

Many of the folks who were involved with BoB are back for this one and it has a similar production budget (adjusted for inflation).

I will be on the couch with the home theater system cranked on March 14th.

What do you guys think of this one so far? I like it so far. Episodes 1 & 2 were good. 3 was ok but I guess was an important part of the pacific campaign as well. The characters are likable also I think.

So I complained about the lack of getting to know the soldiers in the first couple episodes (like Band of Brothers) and now we have two back to back drama no fighting episodes... yuck. Lets get back to blowing shit up.

lol! yeah the 3rd episode i was like eh it's nice they are getting laid but this isn't really about the pacific campaign. hopefully part 5 will be better.

what i do like is the small intros in the beginning of the vets talking.

so far though i don't think it's as good as band of brothers.
