I saw the original which I really liked. I went into this knowing If I compared it I would be dissapointed so I didnt. I was PLEASANTLY surprised. It was fairly true to the story. I really liked the casting of the two main characters as well. It comes off quiet and slow but I was entertained the whole time so it didnt take away from the movie. A couple of parts were a bit over the top but overall a fun/dark flick.

I was under the impression that there were supposed to be some differences between the story told in the Orig Foreign flick "Let the Right One In" and the English remake... The latter following the book more closely... But for the life of me, I don't think I can pick out any differences between the films other than the former having one additional scene where they flash the little "girl" without clothes on... They were essentially the same film.. and I would have to say the foreign one did more with less.. :confused:
